SRX8934554: RNA-seq of female salivary glands
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2000) run: 62.1M spots, 4.7G bases, 2.6Gb downloads

Design: RNA-seq analyses of SG from female Stomoxys
Submitted by: University of Cincinnati
Study: Stomoxys calcitrans Genome sequencing and assembly
show Abstracthide Abstract
The stable fly Stomoxys calcitrans is an obligate blood feeder, closely related to tetse fly. S. calcitrans is a mechanical vector of typanosomes but unlike tetse, it does not transmit disease-causing parasites to humans. Genomic data from this organism will contribute to the understanding of vector competence in tetse fly and the transmission of trypanosomiasis.
Sample: Salivary glands from Stomoxys female
